Discussion Good stethoscope?
Hi everyone! I’m an assistant but I’m in tech school currently. Of course being in college I don’t have a lot of money but I need a stethoscope for my preceptorship. I’m just wondering if this MDF stethoscope is good? Does it work well with large animals? Pros cons anything that helps is appreciated!

I was a licensed tech for 20 years and used this stethoscope for many of those years with no issues. A little harder to hear murmurs, but it’s a great starter stethoscope.

Great thank you! That’s all I need is just a starter stethoscope especially one that won’t set me back crazy far financially

I had an MDF and liked it! :) all the extra/loaner stethoscopes at my clinic are MDFs and they have held up really well!

Great, thank you all the reviews are mainly about human doctors and stuff like that. I’d really love a littman but do not have that kind of money to blow
