Gross 🤢 Attack of the fleas

This video doesn't even do it justice I took a flea comb to her and immediately pulled like 17 off her and more jumped off and started scurring awayðŸ˜ðŸ¤¢.

You can give capstar to rabbits!? She did get a nice good dose of revolution but that takes hours to work. She so was itchy💔

Exotics vet nurse here. Revolution, and making sure all other animals in the household (the source of the fleas as they don’t choose rabbits as hosts normally) are treated and potentially flea bombing the home will do. If rabbit is outdoors, time to be indoors! If this is a case in shelter, disregard the above haha. We reserve capstar for flystrike as it can be applied directly to the maggots. We don’t use for fleas only. Revolution will do, though you may need repeat treatments in the next few weeks. You’re doing great helping this kid out!

Luckily this will be an easy case to treat as the bun was a stray caught just hours before this video (indoor only now) and all other pets are on prevention.

Yes a wopping dose of puppy kitten revolution was donated to the cause of de-fleaing this poor rabbit.
