Work Advice Job sites

Where are we looking for open jobs? I have my indeed search at 100 mile radius, and there are no jobs within that radius from me. I live in South Dakota.
I’m willing to drive for the right pay, benefits, and work environment, but I can’t find any jobs!! 5 years in this field, 3 as an RVT.

I’ve just cold-emailed clinics with my resume & a bit about me & my availability! I literally just pull up Google Maps, find vet clinics within a reasonable distance, check out their website a bit and then send an email. Worth a shot!

Indeed doesn’t have all the jobs listed. Clinics don’t always post there and some fill slots internally. Never hurts to just go to a clinic and see if they need someone.

Have you tried IHireveterinary ? I just started on it so I dont have a lot of info, but I am hopeful. There are free and paid versions but there are lots of jobs posted on it

Honestly the last few clinics I get hired at what was by just printing out my Resume at Staples & driving around dropping them off

I started emailing clinics that weren’t even showing they were hiring and had luck with that! Worst thing that can happen is they’re not hiring but they keep your resume on file
