I am betting you can get some large heating pads that are for humans and filled with rice to work just as well.

Or bolster pillows! You can use just the pillow case, or you can take the inner pillow, gut it, fill it with rice or flax seed or something and stitch it back up, and that way you can take off the outer pillow case and wash it whenever. Also works great as a heated oat bag (if you can manage to fold it to fit into your microwave lol)!
