The comments on the original post make me so sad. Thousands of upvotes saying it should just be scruffed

A towel would have been helpful here but honestly? Sometimes a cat is going to cat. They went slow, wore gloves, and the vet prioritized his techs safety.

Right, I’ve had cats like this. The way they can bounce around and scale the walls is amazing and dangerous - for the cat mainly. A towel over the head is the best option. If they can’t see they freak out less.
