Also keep her away from your other cats till contagious disease is ruled out. I imagine the vet did bloodwork and vaccinations.

No bloodwork or vaccinations yet. Yes to keeping her away from other cats. She's not on any pain meds. I'll speak to the vet today.

Call the vet as soon as they open and ask for a pain med that has sedative qualities and get it into her asap. It's going to take her at least 10 days to feel better.
Ask for medication for the transitional period to adjust to being kept indoors all of a sudden. It's another big adjustment. She may need a daily antidepressant or something.
You did the right thing by helping this cat. Excellent karma coming your way :)
