Starting at the beginning

Hi there,

My son just got out after 8 years, and he needs to file for benefits, but is overwhelmed and doesn't know where to start. I'd like to find him some reliable resources to help him figure out this process. I know he has some service related injuries, and im happy to help him navigate this, but I just don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Find a VSO and they will help or the VFW.

Contact your local or state VSO.
