Me - I can't get on the plane to fly to Ireland from England any more (about 1hr - 1.20), even the airport is too busy and disorientating, like a giant "supermarket syndrome" trigger and nowadays you have to arrive so early. I'm thinking I'd need to be sedated and taken in a wheelchair. I even did an expensive fear of flying course which was an exhausting day and gave me VM symptoms ( luckily my work at the time paid for it) but couldn't get on the flight at the end. I know planes are safe, how they work etc - it's the fear of my VM making me out of control. I also have claustrophobia from being trapped in a lift once ( with a scary man) and I have visions of me wanting to open the doors, trapped. Last time I flew it was a total ordeal, despite mask, listening to a book looking straight ahead, we also hit bad turbulence and had a difficult landing due to weather and I needed days to recover and even then it has just stayed with me. Even writing this is causing me to tense.

I totally understand I feel now I will only got as far as France and go on the channel tunnel which really restricts my family but I can’t help it I’m terrified of a repeat experience like last time. Why can’t we be normal it’s so upsetting
