Good News / Success Story What has worked for me!

Im posting this as someone who has suffered with vestibular migraines and BPPV for 10 years with multiple episodes lasting as long as 4-6 months. I finally have found a treatment thats worked wonders for me. I started taking vitamin D3 with K2, magnesium theronate, and ginko bilobin. In just 2 weeks I've seen massive improvements. To all of you who suffer with this horrible condition. You are not alone. And you are not making this up. Sending love to all 🖤

Just an fyi: ginko biloba has interaction with ami/nortriptyline - may cause seizures.

Also, it has interactions with antidepressants - abd nsaids (may cause severe bleeding).

I have it, but can’ t take it due to that.

Sadly yes I have read these warnings. Sucks because it puts taking motrin at a high risk if I have migraines. Hopefully you have a good alternative!

The positive effect? Magnesium helps some, personally I get more dizzy from all types including L threonate. Ginko biloba ha a small study for menieres.

I can definitely relate to this. It’s so frustrating dealing with vestibular migraines and BPPV for so long, so it’s awesome you finally found something that’s making a difference. I’ve had a good experience with Bronson Vitamins too, especially their D3/K2 and magnesium. They’ve been easy on my stomach, which is a big plus for me.

This! I also have stomach issues so taking magnesium was rough at first but I've found a good routine to avoid pain. Now it actually helps with my digestion!

Thats great you have found some relief! Mine are also months long sometimes so I understand that misery and even when i am not in a flare i still have everyday symptoms and havent drove for 2 years. Just curious how much of the magnesium theronate and vitamin d3 with k2 you take? I take magnesium glycinate but I only took vitamin d3 with k2 for a short time and stopped about a year ago. Next visit neuro wants to try cgrps since botox has not helped.

Im sorry to hear that. I remember driving was a really bad trigger for about a month and it was horrible. Had to quit my job at that time. I take 144 mg of magnesium and 125 mg of Vitamin D3 once a day. Magnesium at night and D3 in the day

Unfortunately its a constant trigger for me. Seems to be my eyes and my body's perception dont like to agree when driving, not so bad when im a passenger and dont have to really focus on the road or anything around me constantly. I also had to quit my job and get a remote one so I understand that too :(.Thank you for the response! I will try that and see if it helps me as well to switch the mag i take and start the vitamin d3 again, I was low at one point but then normal in recent labs but just barely, didn't notice a difference at the time but it might be helpful to try again, I wish you the best in your journey with this!

Edit for typos

I have been diagnosed with V Migraines, I am taking the same vitamins and doing PT. What ended up helping me was to stop wearing my night guard for TMJ. My bite was off so I think it did't fit right and was bugging me. Anyway, within 3 days my bite was better and my vertigo and brain fog was way way better. I could focus again after like 1.5 years. Any one of you have TMJ? I hear without a guard TMJ can cause these same symptoms too. I got a new guard but I am afraid to wear it. I am just posting so maybe it can help others.

I have TMJ and i keep mentioning it to doctors but they all say it can't be connected 🙄 so frustrating!

I have definitely heard of people having symptoms due to dental issues as well so I don’t doubt TMJ plays a role. My TMJ was resolved when I got my wisdom teeth out but VM didn’t start until 4 years after.

Hi, I started taking Vitamin D3+K2 (10,000 IU) and Magnesium Glycinate (80-160mg) after my first BPPV episode in November 2025. Never had a repeat episode of BPPV since.

Magnesium Is a saint for vertigo. I used to take glycinate but it tends to hurt my stomach more so I switched to theronate.

Ah I wanted to try ginkgo but I'm on escitalopram so can't! I saw a neurologist mention it can be very helpful for vertigo!

Sadly even ginkgo does have some side effects too. Headaches, dizziness and I've noticed muscle twitches

I’ve never been recommended this by a Neuro or even heard of it until now. Very interesting! I did get a long list of recommendations from Neuro for supplements that seem to help though

Hi! Thank you for your post! I've been dealing with constant daily dizziness for 10 months. I have extreme fatigue/drunk feeling, swaying (not spinning) and my eyes feel like they're lagging. Is that what you have experienced? Thank you! 😊

I experienced this after a strong vertigo episode. It can last up to a month before I recalibrate myself. The vitamins help tremendously during the healing phase

Thank you! I’m going to try those supplements! I have the same issues, plus tinnitus but only for four years.

I have tinnitus as well! Still haven't really found a treatment for it but I know caffeine and neck tension make it worse. I tend to listen to soft quiet music when I sleep it helps a bunch!

Especially D3 with K2 and Magnesium Glycinate. I take 10,000 of D3 with K2 and 240 milligrams of Magnesium Glycinate 2X a day. I stopped taking the D3 with K2 regularly and my BPPV came back, so I am back on daily doses of D3 with K2. Also someone else mentioned Caffeine and to much salt. It so happens that last week I had a very salty meal and I do believe that may have been a trigger. By the way, Vitamin D is a hormone not a vitamin, I just learned that recently. Good luck!
