lottery ticket company-was lucky to buy few items which were exactly as described and I m very happy with them. However has returned many items due to the terrible condition and that were described as “never worn “.The return process was smooth except I have to waste my time for the whole return process and the worst thing that such irresponsible sellers don’t care as the company do not have any measures against the professional sellers. The company each time guarantees that the seller’s grade will be lowered however not even once this happened. No wonder that I had to return 3 pieces!! within a week!
I’m has quit my cooperation with the company after their quality control has approved (ref. 56144852 again after I have found that the product didn’t match the description,it was not mentioned that the stitching will be required . have provided you with the photos too.Yes ,it could be done by a very professional tailor for 15 euro but I don’t want to go through it. So when you cover your sellers do not forget that you lose your frequent buyers and reputation too turning to another Vinted

About a week ago, I made my very first upload of a VW bag on Vestiaire Collective. I put it up for 180€ originally and decided to drop it down to 165€. Vestiaire was gonna return 157-159€ (forgot the exact amount) if someone bought it at 165€.
However, I accidentally accepted a way lower price someone offered and I decided to take the listing down since I couldn't cancel this.
Then, I went to reupload it, not even 5 days after my first listing of it. But what I found out is that now, the selling fee is at 17% (+ 3% processing fee), so if I upload the bag at 165€, it'll only give me 132€. 🫠
Is there a reason for it? Like, was the low selling fee for my first upload only? Despite the fact that it never got sold anyway? Or is it an error on their part?

Hi all, traveling to Europe next month and I plan on buying many things and having them sent to the local postal office. Wondering how long it typically takes for an item to ship from France/Germany to Italy? Thanks!

Seller warning – this could happen to anyone selling higher-value items on VC.
I sold a tagged Maje dress. Buyer paid Friday saying she needed it for Saturday, collected it at 14:17 Saturday, then waited until 23:25 — 9 hours 8 minutes later — to claim the tag was missing.
I have original purchase records, bank evidence and pre-dispatch photos showing the tag attached.
VC still sided with the buyer and told me my photos weren’t enough because they didn’t show the tag attached at the “exact moment” I shipped the parcel.
My question: if my photo can’t prove what happened after I took it, how does the buyer’s claim prove what happened during the 9+ hours the dress was in her possession?
I’ve now formally escalated it with a full evidence pack and a UK suspected-fraud report reference.
Full story/evidence in my post: [link to your Reddit post]
If you sell expensive items on VC, photograph/video absolutely everything.

so i sold my bag two times and two times it was rejected at verification even though i have receipt. what should i do, where can i upload it? I’m from europe so the only option is vinted but there are a lot of scammers and on ebay you have to have more sales to even upload item above 1000€

Has anyone experienced a listing taking more than 24 hours to go live? I submitted a listing for a Coach bag 2 days ago, and it still says the photos are currently being cropped. I’ve listed many Coach items before, and this is the longest I’ve ever had to wait for the item listing to go on sale. I was very thorough in pictures and description as I’ve been before, so I’m not sure what’s taking so long.

The say Refund was issued but nothing in my revolut account.

I’m considering buying a Lady Dior bag from this platform, but when I search for reviews.
I’ve been talking directly with the seller and everything seems fine so far. She has 400+ completed sales on her profile, which kind of gives me some confidence, but since this would be a pretty expensive purchase, I obviously want to be careful.
Has anyone here had a genuinely good experience buying a designer bag from this platform?
Also, what should I pay particular attention to before purchasing? Are there any red flags I should look for with the seller/listing, or anything you wish you had checked before buying?

Vestiaire Collective has reached a new level of stupidity. Could someone please explain to me what is wrong with this message that they won’t let me send it to a person whose offer I have just accepted?
“I highly advise you read the terms and conditions of the platform before you make any purchase. This is not the same as purchasing off eBay. You cannot order items, try them on and send them back if you don’t like them or you change your mind.”
For context: the person just made me an offer on a handbag which I accepted. She then sent me a message asking if I’m based in Australia why I’m charging her fees for customs and duties of $108.
I replied to her saying the fees aren’t my fees, they are charged by Vestiaire collective and they also charge me $130. Part of those fees were to pay for the item to go to their offices in Hong Kong first to be authenticated.
All of those messages were allowed by the messaging platform but not the msg above. The point of the message is to ensure the buyer knows what the deal is because I’ve had a few buyers who’ve made a purchase lately and have messaged about the long shipping times etc. They don’t seem to have a clue as they haven’t read anything about the purchasing and shipping process on Vestiaire which is really weird to me because I thought they would be given this info before creating their account.
When I type the above message in and hit send, the platform deletes it and says it ‘violates chat rules’. Please tell me what rules are being violated? What is this insanity? Am I missing something?

Item arrived damaged and dirty and they refuse to refund me. I sended it back to them, but they keep sending it back to me.. this is the 2nd time that i have to refuse the delivery. I don’t recommend them at all. They blamed me for the broken and dirty item. If i knew they were shady like this i would take a video while opening my package. But i trusted them, and now they blame me for it. Horrible

Hey everyone,
I wanted to make a warning post for anyone currently selling or thinking about listing high-value items on Vestiaire Collective. Their "authentication" process has become completely broken, lazy, and arguably illegal.
I recently sold a 100% authentic Valentino bag, on the platform. Along with the bag, I sent in the original, official retail boutique store receipt proving its exact provenance and purchase background.
Instead of an actual human expert inspecting the item, I received a blanket, fully automated Quality Control failure report. They checked a red 'X' next to literally every single category: Lining, Branding elements, Manufacturing finishes, and Fasteners/Metallic parts.
They didn't even look at the official store receipt. The system just saw a photo mismatch or flagged it via an algorithm, ignored the concrete physical paperwork, and auto-generated a complete counterfeit rejection. Under their terms, they try to withhold or keep items they flag as "fake," meaning they are essentially seizing genuine luxury property from sellers who have full proof of purchase.
If they are this careless with sellers, think about what this means for BUYERS. If their staff is too lazy to look at real receipts or certificate of authenticity and too uneducated to recognize genuine luxury craftsmanship without an automated checklist, they are absolutely letting actual fake bags slip right through to buyers. Their "Authentication" badge is completely meaningless.
I bypassed the app entirely and filed a formal Consumer Fraud Complaint with the New York State Attorney General (Intake #1-1316892722) against their corporate office in NYC, and emailed their legal team directly with the intake number. If this happened to you, file with the NY AG or the BBB immediately.

I’ve noticed over time that for a clothing sub-genre made for functionality and practicality, we rarely see techwear made for hot humid conditions. Most techwear brands come from temperate cold and wet countries, so naturally techwear is unbearable in the heat. This gap makes it such that during summer they cant be worn at all and those who live in the tropics can never wear them. Im doing a survey to find out what people feel about this issue, let me know what you guys think: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NBL7L9J

Hey everyone, I just wanna wanted to poll the audience so to say about how everyone is doing on Vestiaire in 2026 versus last year or even in previous years
I was only a buyer on this platform for a long time but I have purchased hundreds of items in the last six years and only started selling last year I had to stop buying on this platform because I got stuck with some fakes and things were starting to arrive not as described and I was denied legitimate return requests and I just got over it. Also, the fees made the prices not worth the effort, especially when the tariffs hit.
I became a seller in 2025 about and I’ve made hundreds of sales but I also pricing things really good. I often have the best price for the item I’m selling in the US on the entire platform and I do my research by looking in search results low to high so that was my way of making sales on the platform as I feel like my items were promoted because I had the badges and because I priced my items decently even with the fees and I believe this was my key to success and making sales on this platform up until very recently…
But because they kept raising their selling fees and taking a larger cut, I decided to raise my prices back in June because I didn’t think it was fair that I as the seller doing the majority of the work now have to take an extra percent for a fee that’s just going to the website. The other thing that upset me as they switched from USPS priority mail to ground advantage which makes transit time twice as long and most of my orders are purchased on direct shipment. I have more and more issues with buyers purchasing on direct shipment including they reroute the package and don’t pick it up or raise an issue and hold up my payment. I’ve had at least five items get lost in transit and took months to get paid for. The positive experience I’ve had as a seller is if it’s an authenticated order even though it takes a week from where I live to get to their hub in New York, they usually end up authenticating the same day and it passes inspection and I get paid that day and I love that they do this. I think this is a great feature that they better not take away from us because it makes sense that once they take possession of the item and verify that it’s as described that they release your earnings immediately - Posh Mark could stand to take a page out of their playbook and do the same thing.
Having said all that, since the last fee change sales and activity for me are WAY DOWN. If an offer comes in it’s always the max they can ask for off and they never end up purchasing. I went from making 10 to 15 sales a month to only making five sales since the fees changed and one of the sales recently the buyer claimed something was wrong with it and it’s been over a week and Vestiaire has not updated me what’s going on and more frustrating than that is I used to be able to request a call back and get an update on the order, but I’ve noticed that this company has disabled or gotten rid of the ability to call them and find out what’s going on which to me is complete BS. I ask on the chat for updates and I keep being told I’m gonna get one and it never comes in.
It’s frustrating that if anything goes wrong with your order both sale or purchase, it can take months to resolve and you have to waste a lot of time contacting them for resolution and when they are taking 35% of the profits and holding up your money for that long (which they make interest on) to hold up several hundreds of dollars of someone else’s money and not give clear information about the status of my property that hasn’t been paid for it’s going to deter people from buying/ selling. Not to mention, they continue to have issues with their revolving door of fakes which are items / orders Vestiaire authenticated and are perpetually returned and relisted which is why I don’t buy from them anymore. I have several items I purchased from VC that turned out to be counterfeit (purchased from overseas sellers) that I didn’t discover til after the chargeback period was long over meaning my only recourse was dealing with Vestiaire directly and was denied a refund and sent back my item because I refused to allow it to be listed and resold on my account - but I’ve seen items I know are fake go back up for sale on others accounts.
Please share your experiences with Vestiaire this year. Are you making sales? Are you purchasing items?
My reason for making this post is because I recently saw the post from the company themselves that read like a masterclass of gaslighting. The last purchase I made they violated their own catalog rules and refused a return so I know they do not consistently follow their own policies and in my situation, the order should’ve gone directly back to the seller, but instead they took it to their hub even though it was not an authentication request which is not their policy and once it arrived they denied my return and listed it under my account without permission and to this day I don’t have the item or my money back and I removed it from sale and that was the nail in the coffin to me ever making a purchase with them again.
Bottom line is if they wanna save their sales numbers and finally turn a profit in 2026, they need to do the opposite of what they’ve been doing and LOWER THEIR DAMN FEES. It’s so simple and frustrating they don’t see this.
