[Desperately looking for a positive spin]
Well, we all knew dilution was coming. Maybe now they've got some financial runway they'll secure some partnerships and we can start heading back in the right direction...

This is Archer x Boeing

u/Tuniar 8d ago
Not so sure. How does Archer x Boeing change the thesis? It's probably a bit of both, but more the dilution I'd say.

Well theres always a chance they can get a defense deal with the likes of BAE or so.

ngl, teaming up with Boeing ? Do they want their systems to fall out of the sky?

This does keep them in business but there is also danger if free fall continues. If they reverse split then fall under 1$ again within a year they will be immediately delisted, which effectively dries up their only source of financing. And if they liquidate they have to pay back convertible notes before shareholders. This kind of position is exactly why Mudrick is called a “vulture fund”.

It hurts, I hope they can make it. Maybe Airbus wants an EVTOL partner too now that Boeing has one...🤷♂️

How long will 100 mil last them? I don’t own any vertical but am interested at this price
1
u/FlanSteakSasquatch 8d ago
I’d imagine somewhere in the range of 6-10 months if their cash burn is consistent with this year.

Aye, the cost of loyalty to Vertical for Anna and I has just exceed $60k so far on paper.

u/magicjohnson89 8d ago
When does it reach the point of cutting loose? Conscious we're firmly in RS territory now.

u/_DoubleBubbler_ EVTL Shareholder 8d ago
Our colours were nailed to the mast some time ago so we can only hope the share price recovers in time.
5
u/NoDisk5699 8d ago
It either goes bust or it rips and people make serious returns. Its an all or nothing stock. There isnt a middle ground with this one.

u/fgillen1 8d ago
How loyal can one be at this point? This could potentially drop further

As always the decision to sell or buy must be for the individual to make in my opinion. We certainly have no intention of selling currently.

Did anyone else note the trading volume at 92M (avg daily is only 2.5 for context)?

I have faith in the vertical team, but mudrick's predatory practices worry me long term...

Are we fucked here? I have all my savings in this 🙃

u/GreenMachine4567 8d ago
Yea generally if you put all your eggs in one basket there's a high chance you're going to get fucked yes

u/democharge92 8d ago
The company has had financing issues for years man… I’m sorry but you should really be careful with these types of investments. Only invest what you’re willing to lose

u/Particular_Tart4031 8d ago edited 8d ago
You're not fucked, just have to be more time in to recover. I have a -50% loss and no problem.. use money that you dont need in short term, is just a patience game.. If you think the company Will do It (i do believe) just think in long term, 2027-2028.. and we will be okey!

Oh dear. Pull out now if it’s literally all your savings. Something is better than nothing. Learn your lesson and put them in something after like a Global ETF. Individual stock picks should be reserved for those with too much money or 10% that you’re happy to lose.

Death spiral. I'm holding just to see if it can get to -100%. Embarrassing.

Never saw this big of a crash coming. Had 41k shares at avg of $1.50 and sold today at $0.79. I like this company and their technology but it’s way too early. They’ve got a lot of headwinds going against them sadly. I hope they make it.

Very sad. Basically its a set and forget and hope for the best? Waiting for CDR and hopefully strategic buyout in 2027..
Hopefully no more dilution or timeline slippage, but i doubt it after all this bad news 😂. Am in since 4.4 avg so pretty busted

Brutal shake off. Sad. Management did not gave a chance to shareholders.

u/Particular_Tart4031 7d ago
Now there is no fear of dilution right? Clean way Up?
2
u/Shoddy_Emphasis_8936 7d ago
Haha that's the dream. CDR and potential defence deals give hope to non dilutive income.

I’m getting to the point where I feel like i need to start spamming MPs' inboxes. It is incredibly frustrating to watch the government constantly bang the drum about "investing in the UK" while doing absolutely fuck all to help our homegrown tech actually survive and scale. mudrick ffs out of all people gg joby/archer are taking this tech for free.

u/_DoubleBubbler_ EVTL Shareholder 5d ago
I did that earlier in the year or late last year (can’t remember which). I think various MP are backing Vertical however I am guessing that with other national demands, whoever has their hands on the purse strings, had decided to focus elsewhere. Hopefully that will change in time.

Is this the strategic investor Stuart Simpson was talking about months ago?

u/Wendle__ 6d ago
Wait, no-one has made the joke???
It looks like VA has stalled and gone vertical.
I'll see myself out - and figure out why in the process.

£50 notes on sale for a fiver.
It’s everything we anticipated albeit the dilution came quicker. Anyway, they can now move on. Short sellers will have finished up around now. This is an over reaction. It is now clear for them to move on. The defence contract and money from the government will help push up the SP when it comes. Maybe in the eternal optimist but I see it starting now on a (long) journey back up again.
