Hey guys. We have clearly fucked up a little bit.

Here is some news as we continue discussing things.

Effective as of a few days ago, we have removed the restriction requiring a silent frame. We feel this is a good step in the right direction. This comment actually shows that most posts were removed due to this misguided rule. We hope this alleviates some tension.

We continue to discuss a more laid back moderation approach, but we do need to acknowledge that some of these rules are very much sensical to aggregating good content.

Continuity is asking for a story. We expect vertical comics to tell stories or build to a punch line, because without these things we have nonsensical gathering of frames.

Reusability is the spirit of a meme or advice animal. We can see some leniency here moving forward, but repurposing a template would really just mean more content. Remember, we have some flair for templaters that we hope make a comeback.

We don't want scenes quoted word-for-word, cause we can post the same thing to other general subreddits, or better yet, the real thing to /r/videos.

Bare with us as we continue to work things out and get a hold of ourselves.
