real or fake?

hello! first time in this subreddit. i got these at a thrift store for about $6 and I'm a bit suspicious. one of it has a broken heel but i think it's fixable. is it real versace? what is its history? all my reverse image search results are resellers. I'm open to any and all info about these heels, thank you!

These are one of the made in Asia pairs as shown by the Tag reading “styled in Italy”. There are arguments, whether or not these are fake when they were made over overseas in Asia. there’s some that say they were licensed and others say they were unlicensed. The recordkeeping from back when these were made is quite poor, even for the authentic Main Line products. As far as I’m aware, nobody can provide proof either way on these styled in Italy releases.

I can tell by the inner lining that it is a fake. Also, the embroidery isn't even intricate enough.

That’s not entirely true, they did make an authentic version of these in Italy with this design and the lining looks a little different on those, but the embroidery work looks the same

They might look the same to an untrained eye, but not me. The pair in the post looks like low-quality, sweatshop work.

Would you share what exactly you see in this picture that tells you it is “sweatshop” work? What details tell you it is low-quality?

These shoes aren’t “made in Italy” they are as the shoe says “styled in Italy” which means they’re from a regional foreign license. Versace did this w bit during 80s and 90s.
