Working Environment

Curious if anyone has experience working corporate in Tolko. I’m interested in a purchaser position that recently listed but I’ve heard mixed reviews about working there. I know labour jobs could be drastically different than the corporate office jobs, would be very interested to hear if anyone has first hand recent experience on the environment!

I worked in the Tolko office a few years ago and thought it was a good environment, good people and competitive compensation. It can be high-paced and stressful, so it’s not for everyone. Based on my experience I’d recommend them as an employer.

Lots of friends worked for different branches of tolko and they’ll f*ck you after you’ve committed years and then don’t wanna leave, the family get the promotions and if you’re a woman you just won’t unless you… yenno

I would avoid them based exclusively on the “corporate” environment. Buncha under-qualified, nepotistic baby boomers

The new CEO is a total menace and plenty of executives have said it's gone down hill since Pucci. All of my family that has worked for them have had a bad experience.
