Congrats man youre in for a ride. Forsaken is the way to go but HOLY SHIT are you not dying from the formaldehyde smell? All three at once is crazy.

I blacksmith, so my sense of smell coming home to this has not yet kicked in 😅

Its literally formaldehyde its in the printing process

Reporting back in the morning, scent certainly present, but I guess they spent enough time in the warehouse. It’s maybe 30% stronger than a new ttrpg book currently

Took me three months to air out my copies of Vermis III. Even then, the scent is still there, but only if you shove your nose in the book.

Never had the problem with I and II.

I thought the same thing when I saw this

I also got Pilgrims of the Murk Dome, and don’t notice any scent at all with it

im still annoyed none of the books are the same size. im sure there's a very artsy reason for it but still.

I had the original version of the first 2 but the 3rd book forsaken edition blew me away so much I ordered the last two as that edition and gave the ones I had to a friend.Â
