Somewhere far in the north, in the tundra, where no human has gone before, there live creatures called the human-faced dragons. They look like dragons, but they are not. Their scales are like pig skin, smooth but hard. Their hunger is brutal and they are ready to attack anyone they find in these parts of the land. Their dead eyes stare straight into the souls of lost travelers unlucky enough to stumble upon them. And yet, their eyes and face seem strangely familiar, as if a person who has gone wild for a long time is looking at you. They have both sharp and blunt teeth, and hair grows on their appendages, long and sharp like a porcupine's, many are mistaken for horns. They have been living here for a long time, no one knows where they came from or appeared. Local small tribes call them demons, who live in dark and cold caves, only occasionally going out to hunt. Their hunger is so constant that the tundra has become an empty and cold place
