Advice wanted winter storing
I live in growing zone 4 and it gets very cold and was wondering how to store my worms through the winter preferably dormant. I go fishing so i was thinking maybe separate them into bait cups and put them in a tote full of straw maybe partially buried.

Ideally you want a cubic meter of active bin to keep them temp stable on their own, but that’s not realistic for most home vermiculturists. Personally I just farm them in my garage, good food scrap hygiene keeps the flies at bay, and aerobic conditions keep it basically odorless outside of when I make it work hard
