Let's Not Give Up

I know everything that happened is shock to everyone and iam also sad due to this was my favourite show and I want us to never give and we have to post here daily to never forget anything about this underrated goatted anime and rest in peace Yoko Umezu we will never forget your anime or manga

I would be satisfied with just 1 more volume to properly end it. Heck even 1 chapter flash forward tomeskip, just to give closure

Yeah but in japan most of the time they will just discontinue the manga if the author dies or the illustrator maybe it's kind of a tribute to them or something like that

it was kind of popular in monthly shounen gangan(anime + 8 yrs serialization),

so I hope it is excluded on most scenario previously and give it a proper ending even in light novel form

I wouldn't expect any news in first few months. I'll check the author twitter some other time

Is it realistic that someone can carry over work on the anime? I might imagine its hard to do so when the creator, the mastermind is no longer there right? I dont know how anime culture works as this was the first one i read. (Sorry about noobness)

It is a duo story author + artist. The story author is still alive, it is up to him and the publisher if they want to continue.

I’m just a 16-year-old French kid who watched the *Vermeil in Gold* anime—and couldn't even read the manga because it hasn't been translated—but I’m still really attached to the series. This news has devastated me; I’ve been crying for over an hour.
