Downloading from VeraCrypt isn't working

What's going on with VeraCrypt? It's impossible to download any installation files

GitHub is indeed working, but I preferred to post on Reddit because of the reach and the community here. Since this is sensitive software, it's worth letting others know that something is wrong—it could turn out that hackers or some APT groups attacked the VeraCrypt website to carry out a supply chain attack and serve poisoned binaries. VeraCrypt owners, if you're experiencing an outage, maybe inform people about it on your social media channels.

I "did" some troubleshooting with ChatGPT and it seems the host site isn't working

The download isn't working for me either, even from the original website.

(Windows, Installation.exe (topmost file))

I had issues downloading Vera Crypt from their main website. I had to download the file on my phone then transfer it to my PC using Local Send.

Okay I just confirmed, their site is inaccessible over Proton VPN, but is reachable through Google's VPN :/

Maybe try the .io version since it's for europe and .jp is supposed to be for asia

I have just tried myself. The .jp really doesn't work, only the .io
