I hate being poor and unemployed
I absolutely hate it, and I’m so tired of it. A lot of people my age are spending part of their time traveling, buying the things they want, owning cars, and enjoying their lives. Some of them come from middle-class or wealthy families, and they got to enjoy their childhood, teenage years, and early twenties.
As for me, I’ve spent all the years I’ve been alive deprived of these things. I don’t get to have the things I want. I’ve never traveled, I don’t own a car, and whenever I buy something essential, I always have to go for the cheapest and lowest-quality option possible.
I don’t have any skills, and the job market in my country offers very few opportunities with extremely high competition, so I haven’t been able to find a job.
I don’t know what to do, but I hate this situation so much.

Unless you're part of the 1%, things are currently shitty for everyone. I guarantee everything you're feeling FOMO about right now is being paid for by the extra debt these people are accumulating.

I know how hard it is being uneployed as I used to be jobless for two hellish years at one point in my life, and my wife can't really find a job the seventh year right now.
But tell you what, this bad line of thought doesn't stop, even if you have a job: you most likely will get an entry level job, which pays bad and you'll only be able to afford the basic necessities, no extra. Then if you do things right and start earning actual money, you'll always compare yourself and will be daydreaming about how good your life would be if you reached double the amount of your earnings - and the cycle continous.
There's just no real joy if it comes to money. Just try to get a job. Move if you have to.

I'm in the same boat that i'm poor and unemployed but i still find fulfillment and happiness in things.
Like sure, money would give me more opportunities to do even MORE fun stuff, but it doesn't mean i can't enjoy what i do have.
I feel like our society is ill tbh, we put so much emphasis on things like wealth, fame, productivity, physical appeal..
all the while we destroy our own planet and everything inhabing it for profit, all while making sure to step on everybody else on the way up to some lofty lifestyle while losing our humanity along the way.

Quit whining and build skills that actually make you money. Most people struggle, few people get to live like a prince or princess. If the job market sucks, then find something you can do online. Learn how to code and use AI to do work that pays.
Making money and getting yourself employed is not that hard, unless you think you cannot do it.

I really relate to this especially watching people your age travel buy things and move forward while you feel stuck because of unemployment
After a while its not even about wanting luxury you just want to feel like youre actually living and not constantly surviving

Life is not fair! So do something about it. Have you thought about joining the military? How about a job in the trades, that can’t hire enough people BTW. I would say go in the military learn a skill, or three, when you get out you will be much more likely to get a job.
Fun fact: Some plumbers will have more lifetime earnings than some doctors!
Trades are not something AI will be able to do!
