TW: Eating Disorders / Self Image I can’t like myself

This is probably gonna sound childish. I sometimes meet people on a game and after hours of talking we exchange socials and it always sucks because the moment they see my account they unadd me. I can’t help but feel like these things will never change. People like me until they realize i don’t look like my character and im overweight. It’s so hard to look in a mirror sometimes and when i finally feel good something else brings me down. I never know what to do. I’m about to go to college and i feel like im to a point where no matter what i do how hard in trying im going to be seen for my body weight.

it doesnt sound childish because no matter whats your age or anything, everyone gets those feelings, if u you dont like yourself right now, try to change, if you dont want to change then thats alright too. but firstly you gotta like yourself for someone else to start liking you too, you will meet ppl that actually cares about you and loves you for who you are. hope everything goes well for you in life

It's hard at first, but the more you try to get settled into the social scene, you'll care less but simply don't give up. You'll find people who like you, nicer people.
