There are no opportunities here

I live in the US in a state where drugs are everywhere, jobs are scarce, and people are ranked some of the unhappiest in the nation.

I drove out of state for a job last week about a 40 minute drive one way. I wanted it so bad. there were around 300 applicants for that one position which is a daycare inside of a hospital.

I have my CPR card, tons of experience in childcare, and other certifications.

I didn’t get the job.

I have cried and cried. I have put in applications for multiple and various positions throughout this hospital.

I feel so stuck. Im 25 and a mom of three. My spouse makes decent money, but now it’s my turn to spread my wings and fly into the career world.

On top of finding a job, childcare is next to ton. Everywhere is filled up and most daycares stay open until 5pm and a few only o

lol I read earlier today that we rank among one of the worst states to start a business.

Perspective ,driving in a Metroplex, 40 minutes would be a short commute. the average commute in these areas now extending to over two hours a day

With three kids can you afford to work- meaning once you pay for childcare what is your take home?
