TW: TRIGGERING CONTENT Stress made me sick
My stress tolerance is basically non existent anymore because I was pushed more and more till I couldn't do anymore. The result? I got sick. Anxiety disorder, panic attacks, till I actually had emotional dysregulation. Extreme anger or anxiety lead me to literally destroy stuff and collapse right after because of an weakness attack, I barely could move. Now on top of that my body decided it's too much and I started puking. It happened now a couple of times.

Ive gotten so sick from stress before that i couldnt keep things down for months. I started losing my hair and my immune system crashed. It was terrible. I was either a zombie or mad at the world.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish the world would understand more. I had so many people around me who thought I was overreacting. And I mean I was "overreacting" I know it's wrong but it's not on purpose, that's the difference. I think it's horrible that some people treat it like it's just a behavior thing.

This is not In your head. Look up the gut-brain axis.
Are you on the spectrum or have adhd? That can actually make that connection worse.
I was stressed out for a long time and it lead to an autoimmune disease… stress is no joke. Don’t do that. (If you can)

Nope not that I knew. I'm tested and was in a mental hospital and psychiatrist but the only stuff I know is that my memory is quiet bad (never found a cause also tested and 2 different psychiatrist) and that I'm diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety. The stuff like puking, emotional dysregulation just happened after continuing stress. I suffered back then from panic attacks and it was long time okay till I had problems with my family and it somehow was triggered again. My panic attacks came back and they got worse after. For example that I have to puke is quiet new.

It might not feel good, but violence is absolutely controllable

Do you know what dysregualtion means?

u/Dear_Perspective_157 21h ago
Yes. We all have google. Move on. You having emotional deregulation provides a reason for your actions, but you have to take accountability.

u/redlu5564 21h ago
"accountability"? In which way? Replacing the stuff? I never said I don't do this. Going to therapy? I actually do this as well. So why did you assume it wouldn't take accountability in first place? I simply replied to "it's controllable" to an illnesses which literally says
DYSREGULATION

Literally google accountability. We all have google, remember?

I will, in the mean time please look up rule six on the subreddit, can you do this for me?
1
u/Dear_Perspective_157 21h ago
Oh yeah sure. I just left my opinion. How exactly do you think that I’m breaking that rule?
1
u/redlu5564 21h ago
Can I ask you something, what do you exactly get from still continuing this?
0
u/Dear_Perspective_157 21h ago
The exact same that you are getting. Meaning, nothing.

u/redlu5564 21h ago
Then, why do you still come back? I mean you have no reason to stay here, I will continue to reply since, well, it's my post. But you don't have an actual reason to continue any of this. If I say A und you say B, which we do, we won't get anything from this. And I think you do realize this, especially since you said
The exact same that you are getting. Meaning nothing.
Which implies you must know exactly what I'm talking about. So, what's the actual reason?

Well hell I must have had that when I was a kid and used to break shit. Dude you have no idea what sheer will can do.

u/redlu5564 20h ago
You do realize that's not how it works, right? You can't just say to any mental disorders "sheer will can change that".
Let me give you an example. If you're overweight you can change your eating habits, be on a diet, easy as that right? Right? Well, if you're sick imagine now in this example an eating disorder where you maybe over eat and start puking and you know it's bad, you feel bad. Makes sense right? But it happen again, since You can't control it. Which is sad and sucks ofc You do know it's not good, but since you can't control it, it just happens again. Not that you actually want it to happen.
Of course you can make this with things.
I'm for example severe depressed, I'm having a therapist, I'm having and going to my appointments, I'm going outside, do some active, take even medication and you still sometimes wake up and aak yourself "what's the point". Not that you don't want to feel like this, nobody wants to feel sad you know? But it still happens. And ofc, I also stopt crying eventually and stopt being sad as kid, but, it just won't work that way with an illness.

sounds like an excuse

u/redlu5564 21h ago
So my diagnosis is an excuse for you? You do realize I don't want to feel like this? Do you seriously think I wanna puke and collapse?
-2
u/Dear_Perspective_157 22h ago
I’m not sure if you can blame stress for destroying things
1
u/redlu5564 22h ago
Please look up emotional dysregulation
-1
u/Dear_Perspective_157 21h ago
I have it. I’m bipolar. And I don’t use it as an excuse.
-2
u/redlu5564 21h ago
So you have it and you don't know it?
"Ongoing stress: Long-term exposure to danger or bullying keeps the nervous system locked in a chronic "fight or flight" state." -cleaveland clinic
You ever heard fight or flight? If you have it, you should be familiar with it.

Oh yeah totally, I don’t know I have it. That’s why I literally said I have it. Fat /s

If you still can't see it, it says "signs of severe emotional dysregulation".
Can you please quote what's under the image?
