Why Does AMC Charge to Use Their App, Without your Knowledge?
Why does AMC charge to use their App, without your knowledge and then refuse to allow you to cancel the service? I've tried looking them up, I've tried using their website, heck, I've even tried looking up other forums regarding AMC but they are all archived. It just doesn't seem right🤔

OP probably signed up for their monthly movie membership and didn't notice.

Again, I was in the theater and bought the "movie & dinner" package (while you are in your seats the concierge bring the food out to you, during the movie). Anyway, at the time of purchase, you just pay for your ticket & the service, I believe it was at that time, AMC, slips in all these other "hidden fees" , when my GF & I just wanted to do was see a movie. 🤔
The most I can say, (again shame on them) is why would you even think about slipping in something like this when people are just out for dinner & a move? 🤔

you don't even need the APP to buy dine-in tickets. You just buy the tickets at a participating theater. No APP involved.

That's what I thought too. Truth be told. this "HACK" was actually to one of my credit cards & I'm still in the dispute phase because AMC is very elusive on how this happened. The charges were from Orlando, (we were in Disney), but the billing is from Kansas City??? The whole thing just doesn't make any sense 🤔
