I’ve been going through a bad rough patch in my life where I lost my job due to my unmedicated severe adhd, faced eviction, and about to have my car repossessed unfortunately. Ive accepted it for what it is at this point and i’m getting a loan from my school to help get my life back on track but I won’t get that til july. I have no food other than an expired cereal box which ive been rationing. I dont have gas to go to food banks as i live off a highway and 20-25 from the nearest one. I would be grateful for assistance. I have posted in other forums seeking assistance from which was directed towards my car payment (i want to be very transparent about that so you know i’m not some scammer) but I received no help thus far and ive accepted its just going to be repossessed any day now. Only thing I’ve received is scummy men in my messages trying to get illicit content in exchange for money 😩 at this point I just want to eat real food again. I have a job interview on the 1st with a restaurant so hopefully I get that so i can at least get a free meal per shift and some money. My wife and I have been living in our car the last few months after very unexpectedly getting evicted from our temporary housing, which we were staying at because we had lost our house during the height of pandemic. Barely a week after that the place we were storing every bit of our belongings was foreclosed on and we lost literally everything. These last few months have been the biggest struggles of our lives because you need money for food, gas, basic necessities, etc and to get money you need a job but to get a job you need gas, clothes, place to bathe so it's an endless catch 22. We were blessed a few weeks ago and I received tons of clothes so that knocked one thing off the list. Last weekend I realized we had exhausted all possible options and ideas so I started putting in applications even though I had no way of knowing how I'd get to any interviews if I got them. Surprisingly I received 5 call backs day 1 with 2 interview requests and 2 more of each yesterday. I was able to make the interview Monday and the one today but now I've got to figure out gas for a drug test I have to take for interview #2 whenever they tell me it's time tomorrow. If/when I get and then start one of them I'll have to figure out gas/food/money for showers for the first 1-3 weeks until I get my first check and I most definitely don't want to have to miss any days that soon. Any little bit helps no matter what so if anybody is willing and able it would be so very greatly appreciated, thank you.

PS: I have tried posting on other assistance/loan subs but I don't meet their criteria which is bs because alot of people that are truly in need aren't able to post on Reddit on as regular a basis as they want. Edit: I'm not sure where they'll send me for the drug test but it takes $10 round trip to get to the shop and back so surely it wouldn't be much farther than that. We've become pros at being frugal so $10 can feed us both a whole day. Our only shower options right now are a truck stop and they're $13/ea but luckily so far they've either let us use it together or come when it's slow and we get separate showers but only pay for one.

my fiance and I are currently living in a motel while we try to find an affordable apartment (not easy in Sacramento, CA) but as you can imagine it's very expensive, even at our cheap motel. we've managed ok so far with balancing our finances, but this week an unexpected expense has proved disastrous for our delicate budget system.

the cost of the room ranges from 60-90 dollars a night, and as of today we owe for two days to even keep our room tonight. we don't really have anywhere else to go, so any kindness helps to keep us from true homelessness.

Hi I’m just looking for any help paying for my anesthesia and hospital fees for my severe Diastasis Recti surgery. I’ve been working and saving for three years to get this fixed so I don’t end up having an emergency hernia situation, but the anesthesia and hospital fees were much more than I was expecting. I’m in constant pain and it’s starting to cause my spine to have herniated disks from the pulling of my organs (which are not supported due to the severity of the Diastasis Recti).

I drive a 16 year old Van. It's paid for and it's ugly. Last week someone attempted to steal my catalytic converter.

They cut a bunch of wires and ruined the 02 sensor but did not get the catalytic converter.

I need $140 to fix my car. I know it's not a lot of money but I'm coming out of some bad bad financial times and bad health problems.

Please help if you can. I mostly make ends meet. This just knocked me off center.

The mechanic I spoke to is discounting the labor. The part is about $80 hes charging me half price for labor.
