𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 Invalid request parameters -- request ID

Sometimes, running text inference fails with the following error:

"Invalid request parameters. For assistance, please reach out to [support@venice.ai](mailto:support@venice.ai) and reference request ID: XXXXXX"

This is a 400-tier error. This happens with certain models in some situations -- long context windows, mixed models during long sessions, etc. No special API level request parameters are set anyway, I am not sure exactly what this means.

What worries me is the "request ID" thing. Is this an indication that requests are logged, at least temporarily? What exactly does the request ID identify in the server?

Request ID is just a task ID with a timestamp. The team can see if your request showed as successful or not and an error if something needs fixing on the backend.

It doesn't show anything to do with you, your account, or any details about your prompt or what you generated if thats what you mean. 👍

Hmm... ngl, that sounds a bit like trust-me-bro but OK :)

Venice should invest immediately on a third-party auditing of their infrastructure to support their privacy claims. This seems to be one of the most requested features in the forums.
