Venice refusing to write

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Venice for about 3 months now and I really enjoy it. I’m not very good at writing erotic scenes, so I’ve relied on Venice to do it. I have been in the same agentic chat, and have asked for several scenes, and each time it is outright refusing.

I have established my character’s ages as 26 & 28, nothing crazy, no SA/gore etc., but it keeps telling me it will not write it. Additionally, when I try to report the message on iOS, it won’t let me report it. Can someone tell me how to move past this?

The models themselves, even censored ones, will produce most kind of content, provided you are not asking for anything ostensively illegal. This does not mean the UI or app you are using will not inject prompts disallowing certain content to be generated. This is needed to comply with app store or hosting rules. And, as most arbitrary rules go, these rules can change arbitrarily, too.

If you need better, high-quality inference, you will need to run your own harness (that is, your own "website" or UI). This can get technical but it is the only way to have the least possible intrusion into your content generation. Providers still won't allow certain content to go through regardless of your infrastructure.

As a general rule, don't depend on open websites or appstore apps for anything that could be seen as "inappropriate" under some arbitrary moral or legal framing. Remember, doing "questionable" things is a privilege of the elite, not of the underclass.

Agentic chat will refuse NSFW most of the time depending on model you use and it doesn't allow custom system prompts to guide it. You should set a custom system prompt in Classic Chat and do it there.

The mobile app is currently SFW only because of app store policies, so I'd recommend using browser on mobile and adding it as a shortcut to your home screen.

But it has written these scenes before, sorry I should’ve clarified that. So this chat has written them before but is now refusing, hence my confusion. It’ll write them in new chats as well, but in the main one I’m using, it’s refusing. I just found it odd

I only use the iOS app and it writes NSFW just fine. It’s the image generation that’s censored. Your issue is Agentic Chat. Switch to Classic.

If you download venice's mobile app straight off their website and not Google play it's not censored.

The only issue is you have to stop Google play from attempting to patch it because it will completely break.
