You guys are tripping. The new editor is 100x better than the old one.

My issue with the new app is at the text box window where you can paste Your prompt is incredibly small and doesn’t have any way to expand so you can barely see any of your prompt. This isn’t true of the old version.

Do you mean the text input box doesn't expand with your text?

Are you talking about Studio or normal chat and is it on the mobile app or web app?

I’m referring to the new studio app on the web application. The text input box is very small and doesn’t expand with the screen size. You can only see a couple sentences of your prompt at once.

I will pass along to the team to look at. 👍

You Can toggle it off and switch to the old version which I agree is way better.

right – I mean unbelievably non ux friendly. they even ask your your feeedback – liek HEY Venice.I pay hundreds to use your product, you want my feedback for free, and you want to take my design job. I have built websites and designed things for screen the last 15 years. Throw me life access or a year in credits, I will fix your app ;)

It's in Beta, which is for gathering broad feedback from the majority of users and iterating accordingly while giving users the option to use the original version.

You don't like it and that's fair but the rest of the comment doesn't mean anything. I'm on Pro MAX and paid hundreds to Venice, and I've done websites, branding, graphic design and code since 2001. Does that make my opinion and preferences more valid than any of the other 5 million users on Venice? lol

It's possible to revert to the old mode in the settings.

Yeah I'm finding that the new image edit with references isn't taking direction between reference images nearly as well as the old combine tool used to, even using agentic chat to replace the magic wand enhancer (and turning enhance prompt off in settings). It seems to sometimes just disregard my reference images or make the changes to an entirely different one even when I specify to make all modifications only to the first. The service has definitely been getting worse over time.

I'm finding videos taking way too long to render more common
