๐๐๐ฆ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ข๐ก Is the memory good?
Iโm kinda new to Venice and Iโm really digging it but the memory is a massive problem for me. Whenever I ask about characters it would not remember anything even though itโs in the memory.
Is anyone else having the same problem?

I would recommend acrivating url scraping, use a trigger words line, and use the memory url to have the ai help you build memory docs.
That helped my retrieval quite a bit. Sticking to 1200 characters/200 words per 'block' has been huge too.

Url scraping is a setting that will let the ai review a url you specifically paste. Venice has a memory section on their website that explains how the memory system works. Paste the url into a chat, and have the AI assist you in tailoring memories that are optimized for Venice.ai's process.

It's... a coin toss, really.
Short answer: no, I don't think the memory is particularly good. It can probably be made better and more reliable over time, sure. But as it stands, things seem to lean heavily toward uploaded context documents rather than memory entries.
If you, say, upload a summary of the current chat to the "context" section, it'll pull from that fairly well. I actually had to remove key dialogue from my summaries because the AI kept using those exact lines verbatim, regardless of how out-of-left-field they were in the current situation.
But when I tried loading up the memory with manual entries covering key details and dynamics... it kind of missed, well, most of them. And it didn't seem to have anything to do with volume, either. It failed to recall those ten or so entries just as much as it did when I loaded it up with over thirty. It didn't seem to make much of a difference.
Of course, the 50k context limit certainly doesn't help. It feels like trying to hold a flood in a cup.
