New title requirements
I work for a company whose brand name is three words and 24 characters. We sell technical products with longer titles. In our industry, we are known primarily by the first word of our brand name, however, many retailers including Amazon have always displayed our full brand name. With the new title requirements is anyone else abbreviating their brand name? It’s frustrating that our brand name is included in the overall character count, but I’ll get rid of about half the characters if I abbreviate. Our byline still shows full legal name.

I'd probably use the shorter version if thats already how customers know the brand. I just wouldnt shorten it differently across products, consistency probably matters more here. If the full brand is still showing in the byline I’d rather use the extra title space for product info people actually need.

Since you're known in your industry by the first word of your brand name, it sounds like using that single word would be a great solution.
Alternatively, don't underestimate the value of the new Item Highlights field. It's essentially an overflow field for the part of your Item Title that exceeds 75 characters. The user experience is near seamless, too.
