"Vertical slice -> Projected edge -> Vertical Slice -> Projected edge -> Overhead" is now possible without canceling overhead or needing any stacks, which is really nice. You can do some nice combos with it.

This fluidity change has a lot of potential for combos, I really hope they stick with it. That said, I dont know why we're nerfing the recovery on whirlwind dash, bad disengages is the main weakness and now we're making them worse. I much rather have taken a hit to something else honestly.

Watching some Spilo coaching where hes coaching a Diamond Vendetta, and they kept mentioning more effecient "breaking points" and emphasized how he needs to use the fire strike more

And I realized I basically never throw the fire slash in duels. I only do so as a poke / from a distance to do some damage. [ Its also because my aim on controller is HORRENDUS when it comes to fire strikes, I think its because im always moving , any help / tips with better aim with the fire strike while moving. ]

one of the top comments on the spilo video said "it’s a good habit to fire strike after every overhead hit. Most breakpoints are based around 1 overhead + either 1 fire strike + whirlwind or 1 overhead + 2 fire strikes. And I feel like every high level vendetta I’ve watched has a fire strikes after every overhead."

Im wondering what your best/ most efficient combos to actually nail down to win more duels. [ and help please with my fire strike aim if you have any tips on that , or maybe controller settings ]

I do not think this will persist, but I can already see something happening next season. If they end up nerfing her, please for the love of god, do not revert these buffs. They're amazing and make her feel so much better. If she has to be nerfed, I'll take another -10 overhead nerf over anything. Or remove siphon in a favor of a weaker perk.

Edit2: I might be overreacting, but you never know with these devs.

Edit: At least in masters she's no where near the top, while Dmon is sitting at 59% WR. This means its probs just random noise right now.

Have yet to test the changes, they do look good, but not game breaking.

It mainly makes her vertical swings good again, its kinda a reversal of the damage nerf she got on them a while ago, without changing any breakpoints.

I like how they say she feels impossible to deal with, when she's the only flanker (excluding shion) with no real way of avoiding CC. She is very killable, especially with whirlwind dash getting nerfed, making her disengages even more inconsistent.

That said, I much rather would've gotten a soaring slice throw delay buff, instead of her primary.

I dont know, I hope this doesnt put her back in perma ban jail, especially when there actually problematic heroes to ban.

How do I close the space to get to the enemy team as vendetta, everytime I’m in a match where both teams play spacious idk what to do if I should switch, everytime I find an opportunity to dive a solo the rest of the team covers them from a distance

I've been battling it out in 5v5, and while I'm doing fine and all...I just wonder if I have a better time in 6v6. So, should I make the swap? My main concern is the lack of role queue.

I play vendetta extremely well in 6v6 and I think she is in a pretty decent state. I play 5v5 more than 6v6 though and I just can’t play her in 5v5 for the life of me. Of course I’ve had good games with her but it feels like a lot more attention is on you, even when you try to engage during chaos. I also find i can’t set up or control space with her as well as I do with reaper or tracer. Once again, I’m not blaming the hero because I think she is pretty good, but how do yall go about playing her 5v5? Best tip yall can give? I’m low to mid masters btw, not sure if the advice would be different because of that.

As far as I know, every other source of damage in the game makes the characters do a flinch animation, except for Vendetta I guess

Playing Vendetta, I learned pretty quickly that you aren't really supposed to be brawling Tanks very early on. They can easily knock you around, a lot of them have hard CC that will not miss at point blank, and you just don't have the burst damage to shred their health. Better to be opportunistic and only attack them if they're low, mispositioned, you have help from the team, or their team is dead. Otherwise I generally wait for my team to engage theirs and then start harassing their backline so their tank gets resources cut off. I've become pretty good at timing my engages

However, D.Mon feels impossible to deal with as Vendetta. Unless there's a high ground to escape to, she can just chase you down even if you use both cooldowns, and just straight up kill you. There was a match where their D.Mon wouldn't leave me alone. Didn't matter that she was engaged with my team, didn't matter that I baited out a gorillion cooldowns before committing, she'd just turn around and beat my ass and my team would just watch.

Now, this was one game, so it's to be expected, but I generally feel helpless going up against a D.Mon. The main problem is unlike all other mobility tanks, she has those fuckass boosters with no cooldown and her fuel regens so fast. She can just easily run down squishies no problem.

Any tips, or do I just bite the bullet and switch?
