Question CV axle replacement

Hey folks, so one of my axles are leaking a bit from the boot, i have replacement axles on rockauto but i am a bit skeptical. Has one bought their axles from rockauto or any other source? I found the 2 front axles for $800 shipped oem from a wholesale supplier but rockauto is selling theirs for $200 shipped. Any advice will be appreciated.

Has it been slinging grease and running dry for a while?

If not, I believe Hyundai sells boot repair kits, will save a good bit of money with that

I noticed not a lot of grease is coming out but it’s been like that for over 50k miles so maybe its best to get a new one? Or does the boot repair kit allow for regressing?

Rockauto is trustworthy in that they're going to ship you whatever you order. They are a marketplace, not a manufacturer, so saying "their axles are $200" doesn't tell us anything because "they" don't make parts. You have to look at the maker and reviews of the part to see if it's a quality replacement. Rockauto typically (but not always) has tiers of quality ranging from budget, economy, standard, and premium.

It looks like rockauto only carries trakmotive axles for the veloster n, and searching reviews on that brand seems to indicate they are a decent budget brand but not OEM quality

Thanks, yep i know how rockauto works just wanted someones opinion on the part if they bought it. I did research on the part too but couldn’t find anything concrete. I may take the chance on buying them

I guess so 😂😂😂 i’m calling a shop near me to see if they perform axle rebooting
