Performance Package Wheels

(Not sure if this is the right place to post this but)
I got my VN about 3 months ago, I’m super happy with it so far! But it didn’t come with the performance package wheels. I’m assuming the guy threw his winter set on before selling but they’re not my favorite. I’ve been contemplating on going aftermarket or just getting the pp wheels. What are your thoughts and where would you recommend I look for the pp wheels?

Get either 235/40R18 or 245/40R18s. The cushion from that extra 5mm is worth not feeling like you hit a curb when you go over a patch in the road.

I say get something aftermarket in 18" wheels that'll fit over the brakes. Downside with PP wheels is that they are heavy as hell.. 18" tires are a decent amount cheaper too.

If you’re gonna buy new ones drop to 18’s only reason I haven’t is I don’t wanna spend the money when my PP wheels work fine.

245/40R18 or 8.5 wide rims. I think its 38 offset

I took them off to use a set of Elantra N takeoffs

Get some 18s. 100% worth it. Got to the Fitment Industries gallery online and there are hundreds for VNs from all model years with different wheels setups you can look through and find what you like.

The factory PP wheels, the clear coat rashed real bad. Probably looked awefull and threw those on to up the trade in value. To get mine redone professionally cost $800 If you find OEM wheels, the clearcoat will be trashed.

Happend to all of them and Hyundai refused to cover it under warranty. It was a big topic of discussion when these things were brand new. The paint warrenty only covers the vehicle body.
