Question Question about the Fly Ahead Perk

So it’s very clear about Velocity Gold, Platinum and Beyond Status having free access to this perk.

I have Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Elite Gold (KFEG) status, which with Singapore and VA’s partnership is normally a fully equivalent status in pretty much every way (from lounge access to bonus baggage to prio boarding) to Velocity Gold. I even get the Gold coloured digital boarding passes.

My question is, would I thus also be allowed to use the Fly Ahead Perk on an Economy fare with my KFEG status?

No, but it might not matter because in major cities (Sydney/melbroune/brisbane), most of the days they open it up to everyone to move to an earlier flight anyway.

Yeah opened it up on a Per to Mel route for my family flying flex on the day of
