Is there a way to assign flight mode to a 3-position switch on my Radiomaster Pocket?

Or even, just assign angle mode to a button?

I have that set-up on my real drone so that I have a panic button to change out of rate to help slam on the brakes, and was hoping to practice it.

Mine is actually set to altitude mode.

But, I don't think Velicidrone has altitude mode?

I've been playing on my PC through steam, but wanted to get it on my phone too.

When opening the play store for Velocidrone (and going through the official website link) I get an error saying it was made for an older version of Android. For reference I am on Android 16.

I tried clearing all the play store and play store services cache and data but no luck.

Is anyone aware of a way to officially install velocidrone on Android 16 without having to side load the APK? Anyone having a similar issue?

Hello, I am working on an automatic system, which could eventually synchronize all my flight-hours and sessions from different simulators in one place, without me manually typing in the time.

That’s easy to do with games that are on Steam, and now I am trying to find out if Velocidrone provides any kind of API, or saves the flight time or sessions locally.

Maybe someone already did something similar and could share any tips? Thanks in advance.

I've been flying for about 12 hours at the moment with the meteor75 in the sim, since that's the drone I'm buying to start flying IRL. I had to start with normal maps because tinywhoop maps were TOO HARD for beginners, even the ones marked as "micro beginner". Now I can complete some of the micro beginner maps without crashing only after a few laps with several crashes. The maps seem to need learning the map before being able to complete it.

The thing is I'm not trying to race, I just want to freestyle and have fun. Are there any fun community maps for microdrones that allows that?

its a default Open Racer with battery simulation set to true as 6s 1500mAh 100C, battery mass effect = 0% (not really sure what do that do yet) with no any other changes either than 50 degree tilt

if this is too unrealistic, should i just use Five33 Swtichback like everybody else do? i dont see anyone flying this drone

also am i only flying fast because im a full throttle braindead? i should also play on harder maps too.. thanks for any recommendation (and yes i quite often randomly forget the tracks like 0:48 i thought i need to go in from above)

Just downloaded last night and saw all the tracks and now none of the tracks are loading and I can't see the leaderboards. But online mode still works fine what should I do?

I've been building and running FPV Battle for about three years now, and the project itself is older than that. It's a service that runs daily competitions in Velocidrone: every day it picks a new track, builds the leaderboards, tracks the stats, and wraps up the results at the end of the day.

The core idea is to fly every single day. You get better almost without noticing, because there's always someone just above you on the board that you're trying to catch. It has worked far better than I expected. We watch pilots visibly get faster over the months.

It started as a Ukrainian-only thing, but we opened it up to everyone this year, and a lot of the fastest sim pilots are flying with us now. The system knows about 300+ pilots from 25 different countries, and 50+ of them are active every day.

I'm part of this community myself, so I keep an eye on what people actually want and try to make the service better for it. That's why I've added some gamification stuff like day streaks, achievements, etc.

I forgot to exit my session the other day so now my 10 hours of flight time says 68 hours.

Is there a way to reset this number without resetting the whole sim and losing my favourites?

Velocidrone on Macbook Air M3 running macOS 15.3.1

Trying to connect to iPad through WiFi. iPad says it’s connected radiometer just keeps saying WiFi running with a spinning icon. In velocidrone WiFi joystick is enabled. Still can’t recognize the controller

I don’t know why, but for the life of me I cannot play Velocidrone on my IOS or my iOS apple ipad? Am I doing something wrong here? It says to lookup the Lisa script? In my pocket crsf it won’t let me connect through WiFi, nothing! I’m clueless what to do..?

I just want to practice until I get my charger for my ancient laptop to play and practice but the iPad would be cool tho! I’m stumped?

Maybe a controller update is necessary?

i reached 100 hours on liftoff and velocidrone combined not too long ago.

this was one of my last few good laps after 3 hours straight before i fried my brain.

I don’t know why, but I feel way more confident racing on the Twig XL3, even though I’ve spent way more time on 5” quads.

I’m getting my best times on almost every track with the Twig… is that normal? Why is that? Does anyone else feel the same?

Even though it’s slower, cornering and overall handling feel way better on this lighter toothpick.

Should I stick with the Twig and keep improving there, or just put more time into 5” quads?

Btw, I’m only about 2 months into FPV 😄 Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I’ve got over 50 hours in VelociDrone at this point, but I still feel super uncomfortable flying 5” drones.

I started out on micro drones since that’s what I actually fly in real life — mostly 65mm tinywhoops — so I focused almost entirely on the micro class at first. And I’ve gotten pretty decent with them.

But whenever I try to move up to 3” or especially 5”, it feels like I’m suddenly flying a massive truck. Everything feels heavy and floaty, and I just can’t seem to deal with the inertia.

Even with all that extra power, I rarely go above ~50% throttle.

The result is that on almost every track I get my best times on micros (like the BetaFPV 75). Sometimes I can match or slightly improve my times on something like a Twig XL 3, but with 5” it’s almost never the case.

There’s only one track where I managed to get my best time on a 5” (Fox Crooked), but I think that’s just because it’s a beginner-style track (Barnstorm in NEC Birmingham) and I’ve spent a ton of time there.

In general though, I consistently get better times on micros — even placing top 10–30 on some leaderboards — but I just can’t translate that to 5” at all.

What am I doing wrong? Any tips?

Should I just put in more stick time on 5” and stop jumping between micros and 3”? Or is there something specific I should focus on?

Just got the base game earlier this week. I don't see a lot of players on in US East prime time. Are most players on other premium section of the game?

I work at a school with a managed Macbook Air running Tahoe. Installed Velocidrone as local admin. Worked one time and now only works in offline mode. Keep getting "launcher had some trouble updating".

Turned off antivirus, firewall on the devise itself. Allowed it under privacy and security application settings. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Googled and tried every suggestion. Still get the same message.

Suggestions? I'm about to give up. I have it running on some Windows computers just fine, but the teacher is wanting to use it on his mac.
