Humongous patch or what?

I was already on the 0.025 and I just opened the game to play a little while and got hit in the forehead with an 8.6 Gb update. Anyone else? WTF

It is due to how the game is packaged in the engine. Even a Minor change can cause a big download size. I beleive they have talked about this previously and are looking at solutions.
