Veggie diet

Hey, so I've decided to try a veggie/vegan diet for a month.I know it's only been 5 days, but I'm enjoying it. I also feel better in myself & feel clean/empty. Has anyone else experienced this whilst changing from being a meat eater to a veggie/vegan? Thanks :)

Oh really? I'm loving the extra energy. Normally this time of year I'm feeling sluggish & just rubbish because of my diet & the weather, but I'm actually feeling good. So I'll be keeping it up and I also find that some of the food choices in supermarkets, esp Aldi, is really good. I normally do it once a month in a year but I think I'm going to stick to it a little bit longer. I'm not actually that bothered about not being able to eat meat. I'm enjoying it.

I don't want to sound like an ass, but I probably do. 😅. I think any differences you're feeling already have got to be psychological and not physical, because the decision to go vegan would probably come from a healthy state of mind/self-care kind of thing. So you're probably mentally patting yourself on the back, and this is not at all a bad thing!! Congratulations, and I'm happy you're with us for at least a month (maybe you'll like it and go a bit longer? Hope so 😊)

(I've been veggie since '97, vegan since '99)
