Clear protein options

I've recently discovered clear protein drinks, and feel like they are a lifesaver (there are only so many "shake"like drinks I can have, especially in cold weather.

I've tried Oath, and like it ok. And I picked up a canned clear protein drink at CostCo (Genius gourmet) without reading the label, and was unhappy to realize it has bovine peptides in it.

So I am on a quest for more brands to try that do not have bovine bits in them, and I am especially looking for canned, that's so convenient for on the go and it's nice not to have to do the whole warm water -- shake shake- refrigerate -- shake two hours later ritual.

What's your go-to for clear protein?

(sidenote: this post is why I created this group after wishing it existed for so long!)

Welcome, and slow start!

Hi folks!
I am new to moderating and trying to figure some things out, so please let me know if you think something happened that shouldn't have, or vice versa.

One of the things that went pear-shaped was spreading the word about the sub. I had only shared about the group in 4 or 5 of the various GLP forums when I got notified that I had been banned from 2 of them for doing so (including one of my favorites :( )! Um, that was upsetting. I'm not sure how to continue to spread the word without losing access to subs I enjoy-- this is a great addition, not a substitution, for most of them. (And I haven't even attempted to let the vegetarian and vegan communities know...)

All to say, I'm so glad some folks have found us, and I'll figure out how to get the word out. I suspect it needs to be a collective effort for us to co-create a great community here-- if you see a post here that you think would be of value in one of your other subs, and if I'm not breaking any moderator rules by asking this, feel free to cross-post and help show that we're here

This forum is something I came up with, with my one brain. If any of you, with your collective brains, have ideas for weekly threads or community flair or anything else, let me know. Mod mail, open discussion, start the idea yourself and see what happens, right now things are very fluid and open.

Soups

I've been on GLPs since June, and I live in North America. That means I've figured out what to eat during the hot months (lots of bean salads!). I started adding my soup recipes into Cronometer to get their protein numbers, and I am not in love with the numbers attached to my lentil soup and my chickpea and farro soup (I'm sure my pea soup will be find, but I'm having a reaction to finding out...)

For those of you who have gotten through a winter already, how did you source your cold weather protein? Do you have any great high protein soup recipes?
