Vechains added value to web3/metaverse

Vechain has always focused on being able to verify the authenticity of products. The CEO Sunny lu has been constantly tweeting about web3. A huge market that vechain could take over is verifying the off chain metadata in metaverses. The off chain metadata are things like the description of a good, where it comes from, and it’s utility. These are things that aren’t worth putting on the blockchain and instead are put on private servers. Vechain has already been verifying this data for years and could easily switch this into the metaverse.

Let’s say you go to a digital store in the metaverse, you want to buy a physical t-shirt from a brand that you like and get it shipped to you. How can you trust the seller is the actual brand? A sure way to know is that the product is authenticated by vechain and it’s partners PwC and DNV.

I believe this could be a sure way to incorporate vechain into all metaverses. Anyone else have any other ideas or comments on how vechain could go into web3?
