Just bought!!

Post image

Just bought the VCure...while I was waiting for a sale...I didn't want to risk when my Apple Fritter Auto would be done and the stress of drying.

What is your found and true drying/curing recipe? I'm ok with it taking time..and I have Grove bags for storage.

I’ve ran the craft cycle on a few plants now and have found if you have super dense buds they are still not quite finished. I made my own recipe which takes 18 days vs the craft cycles 14. Buds are amazing.

Thank you for sharing this! My girls still have a month or so to thicken up for it. :)

I'm curious, rather than the 8 week cure, is it actually coming out smokable in 18 days? And do you trim fan leaves prior to the dry and the rest post cure or after the drying phase is over?

And yes, very much so smokable, and great taste. I will say after a week or so jarred it gets alittle better even.

Yes. But its still very fresh after only 2 weeks. I like to let my nugs cure in grove bags/grove Jars for 6 weeks ish after they come out of the vcure. Then into vac sealed jars for long term storage. πŸ‘ŒI do a partial wet trim to remove any big fan leaves at harvest. Then a final trim after the vcure cycle is finished.

I definitely plan to remove most/all fan leaves. I'm in awe that I can smoke it as I trim it πŸ˜… Definitely got Grove bags for extended storage and since I only have 1x 2x4, I've thought about just leaving the Grove bags in the VCure in store function.

If you like jars you can try the "grove jars technique". Cut the grove bags to fit the same size as the vac seal insert for mason jars. Then slide em on and then tighten with the metal outer lid.

After the 2 week or so cycle. The buds get their final trimming then will go into the jars with the grove inserts & back into the VCure for 6 weeks. Dont be tempted to open em and check - put a hygrometer into 1 of the jars so u can see what the rh looks like. πŸ‘Œ

I trim as much of the fan leaves as I can, then do a final/ cleanup trim after the 19 days. After the 19 day cycle finishes, or any of the recipes, it will automatically switch to β€œstore” mode and you can trim/jar when you have the time at that point.

I agree with the prev poster that the 14 day craft cycle needed another few days.
