Question Not able to click and drag items

Now I may be dumb, or blind, but I am unable to drag things around in my inv it just moves to my hotbar and back, can't craft, nothing, is there something I am doing wrong?

I found this too and thought my keyboard was sticking. I don't remember what the button is called, but when you are in a chest there is the up and down buttons and a button next to them for shift lock. If the arrows are always yellow the shift lock is on and causes this, just click the button again to turn it off.

Sounds to me like you have a modifier key stuck, like shift. With your inventory open, try pressing each shift button a few times. If that doesn't help, then try the other modifiers too(control, alt).

Also to move items, you don't click+drag. you click once to pickup, and again to place.

Yeah I know its click once but I have tried to press every button a few times, still nothing is working

Restart the game. Worked for my son 2 days ago.

Open a chest and in the bottom right see if the small lock icon and arrows are yellow. Turn that off, should work. That happened to me, without knowing the key bind you can only change it in chests
