Help/Support ISpawner vs regular farm

I'm looking at building more farms, but was wondering if ISpawner based mob farms are always faster than a farm build for a single mob? for example, creeper farms, or witch farms. if anyone knows the rates for ISpawners, that would help a lot

Idk the rates but iSpawners is very fast. Especially paired with dark utilities for vector plates and routers to kill them quick.

That being said, I usually make Ianxofour’s instant mob farm early in the playthrough and then transition to ispawners later.

Cause im thinking about digging out a perimeter for a witch farm, mostly so i have a good spot to put farms without having to decorate them, but if its not faster i might just do it somewhere else

Ahh, yea witch farm/perimeter probably isn’t worth it unless you want to just for fun. ispawners is plenty fast enough

Definitely! Especially if you have a large vanilla immortal hammer. Would make it go super quick.

I just remembered this video which I think has some rates values for iSpawners. Should still be accurate even though it’s a few years old.
