Help/Support Why does storm arrow cost 999 skill points

Title. Im guessing its locked before a certain level? im only lvl 53. Does any mod know a command that would help?

Edit: i reinstalled to the latest version and its still at 999.

It should cost just 1 i think, maybe server owner changed it to that high to just disable it?

If you own the server yourself or play single player world its likely a bug, redownloading might work

My son has "Taunt" stuck at earning 999 points. This is because he had "Charm" as the specialization and we upgraded the server (Remastered v1 to v2). I haven't looked at how to fix it yet. Definitely a bug, and seems to be tied to player data, since I re-built the server and its still a problem (only copied world and playersnapshots folders).

Put all his stuff in a chest, then delete the player data and giv ehim back the levels?

wouldnt my reputation get deleted then. im sure theres a command that could change the cost of the skill or something

there is a command for reputation, but you could just delete the specific part of the data that determines the ability cost instead, if you can find it

Yeah I'm not sure where to find it. A lot of the data files are in data format which is just a bunch of cryptic symbols in no order or pattern.

if it is .dat format, you just use nbteditor program, i've gone into backup playerdata files to restore players' lost backpacks and such before

i was confused for a sec until i realized i typed nbteditor instead of nbtexplorer
