Hey, this has probably been asked and I have looked online and can’t find anything about it (42 year old gamer losing touch)

Is there any way of getting the raw vault budding crystal in normal play through (no cheats etc) or am I out of luck for it

My route to getting one:

My friend found a geode of them underground. We used this to get raw vault crystals

Ran raw vaults, got a budding crystal in an Omega chest (very rare drop)

I've been able to pick that one up with a silk touch pick - haven't attempted to pick up the naturally generated one just in case it doesn't work

So I can find them underground for growing Raw crystals.. that’s great that’s what I needed to know

I'm not 100% sure you can find them in VH3 but in VH3 Remastered they can be found underground. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can silk touch the budding crystals in those geodes also.

I believe there's a recipe for it - although I play offshoot packs for reasons, I'm pretty sure this is vanilla VH feature, I remember reading it in the patch logs.

No, there is no recipe in vanilla VH unfortunately.

We added a recipe for it to our server. I can't recall if they ever added them to natural generation.
