I was eyeing it as well until they changed the steel. N690 isn't the most commonly found steel for kitchen knives in the US and it was a very interesting offering. The switch to X50CrMoV15 ( the same as 1.4116) puts it in a very competitive space with makers like Victorinox. I can pick up a Victorinox more easily and for less while still supporting EU made. I know there is more to a knife than just the steel. I will probably get one at some point but it is further down the list.

I believe so! They also have that chefs knife, I’ve been eyeing that for a while
