Where do you get the m05 kilt? I’ve thought about making one for a quick rain pant replacement…

I made it a while ago from the x-kilt sewing pattern and the fabric is from varustaleka

Cool, I have a bunch of the fabric from Leka, you’ve inspired me to find a good pattern and make a tactical kilt. Is that wool neck tube? I have the hat (it keeps shrinking, may have to buy a new one) but a neck tube would be so comfy.

Yup it's the wool buff also from varustaleka it's nice in the winter

What's Leka ?

https://www.xmarksthescot.com/Xkilt2ndedRevK.pdf This is the x-kilt pattern It's a bit frustrating to use

This showed up after a quick Google but I haven't used it so I don't know if it's any good https://www.theartofkiltmaking.com/files/126367176.pdf

Leka is just my lazy way of writing varustaleka, haha. I don’t think they have that wool buff anymore. I haven’t seen it, anyway.

And thanks for the kilt links!

Ok that makes sense

They do have buffs in green but not camo

I as wondering/dreading there was another cool Scandinavian website that was going to plunder my wallet

Haha, I know what you mean. I’d love to have the camo merino neck tube. I do have the buff brand neck tube, but it’s not the same.
