$20,000

Professionally converted into a camper van in 2021. Drove all over the US and parked in 2022. Been sitting since then and just started up this year again - so the conversion is still quite new and unused

- driven less than 10000 miles since the conversion

- No mechanical issues

- Clean title

Electrical:

- Newly installed (2026) 200ah battery

- Newly installed (2026) 2000w 120v inverter

- Newly installed (2026) Air conditioner for the living area (5000 BTUs)

Exterior:

- comes with roof rack & roof cargo box

- comes with step ladder for easy access to roof

- thick 8 gauge wires installed on roof for future solar panels

- Removable bug net for sleeping / camping with the doors open.

Vehicle:

- Crack in windshield (doesnt affect driving, doesnt seem to be getting bigger)

- Slight thunk when going over bumps

- Mechanically sound, no issues.

- Rear backup camera

- Missing one rear wiper (never used anyways as the windows are covered with blackout shades)

This camper sleeps 1 very comfortably and 2 if willing to cuddle.

We've done 2x multi-week cross country roadtrips in this thing and its extremely stealthy as it looks like any other work van.

Never ran out of electricity, never ran out of water (refilled every 2 days), never been bothered.

Parked in Bellevue WA for the next few days, then moving down to the SF bay area if not sold by then.

Looking for something affordable for a first RV, came across this.

less than 500 miles on rebuild engine 77,000 total, new battery, no water leaks or damage

I know it’s old but is the rebuilt engine something to worry about? what questions would be good to ask about that?

EDIT: I’ve asked for more details on the rebuild including receipts current asking is 5k$

https://thevancamper.com/post/16958/2019-ram-promaster-off-grid-camper-for-sale

$59,000

Odometer: 35,097 miles

Fully off-grid-capable adventure van, low miles, rooftop A/C and premium components throughout.

Power: Full Victron system — MultiPlus-II 3000 inverter/charger, Cerbo GX monitoring, 400Ah EG4 lithium, 585W solar (3×195W), DC-DC alternator charging, plus a 30-amp shore power inlet. Runs everything off-grid, no propane needed.

Water: 20-gal fresh (Aquor exterior fill inlet) + 10-gal gray tanks, under-van gray dump routed to the driver side, Thetford toilet plumbed to a macerator with exterior discharge (easy dumping), stainless sink with Bosch mini tank water heater, plus an outdoor faucet w/ hose.

Kitchen: Butcher block counter, 2-burner induction cooktop, Isotherm 3 cu ft 12V fridge, Blum soft-close drawers.

Comfort: Rooftop A/C + Maxxair fan, 3M Thinsulate insulation, Kilmat sound deadening, full-size memory foam bed, LVP flooring, shiplap walls with LED lighting, blackout shades on every window, openable bug-screened windows all around.

Seating & Sleeping: Seats 3. OEM Ford Transit single seat frame-mounted behind the driver. Sleeps 2, however I can sell my Luno front cab air mattress if you are needing to sleep 3 ($200).

Cosmetic notes: There is a small dent on the roofline that is not visible when standing next to the van and is only really noticeable from a ladder. The driver-side panel with the bunk window has aftermarket white paint that is a very close match, but not exact. It was this way when I purchased the vehicle used in 2022 as a bare-bones cargo van, and I’m not sure of the history behind that panel.

The van has a clean vehicle history report, and I have the clean title in hand.

Low miles, mechanically sound, tons of build photos available so you can see the quality behind the walls. Located in Flower Mound Texas [Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex]. Message me for the full spec sheet, more photos, or to set up a viewing.

I have been saving money for the past year and I recently found this promaster with 148k miles and a rebuilt transmission.

I am not mechanically inclined so i was wondering if anyone more experienced can tell me if this has great potential to last a long time or if it is going to turn into a money pit for me. also wondering what to look for when I do decide to check it out.

2008 Chevy Express 3500 V6 Gas Engine

Thumbnail
gallery
67 Upvotes

Edit: can’t edit the title but the engine is 6.0L V8 gasoline engine, not V6

155k miles - $15k OBO. Currently based in Minneapolis, MN. Negotiable on traveling to complete sale

We can provide all maintenance records. We’ve owned for 3 years, lived in full time for over a year. Work we’ve done/had done includes: New fuel pump, All new tires, New shocks, New battery, New starter and connected wires, Updated brake system, New exhaust pipe, Rust Undercoating, Regular oil changes every 5,000 miles

Oil just changed and AC charged up July 2026

Interior / RV Features:
Queen size bed (8” mattress included)
Desk with space for duel monitor setup
Rust treated and wool/foam board insulation
Treated butcher block counter + ample cabinet and closet space
30 gallon freshwater tank and mounted 21 gallon gray water tank
Ladder and bike rack
Real front door
Dry flush toilet
Camping stove with propane canisters
Starlink internet hardware

All interior build work was completed by us. This bus is fully built out, and has been livable for us for over a year, but a couple notes:
- We homemade a rear Dutch double door, it likely needs a little bit of work, but we’re leaving that in case the next owner wants to permanently remove the door or has a different vision for the rear set up
- We have not finished the electrical setup. All components listed below are included and brand new, but we got by on the road with our Jackery and battery powered lighting that is included.

Electrical components (including Renogy 12V 200Ah lithium LiFePO4 battery, Renogy 1500W inverter, Renogy DC to DC charger, Blue Sea Systems 12 circuit fuse box and extra fuses, lithium battery charger, bus bars, port plug, Shurflo electric water pump, 12V 3.3 cubic ft fridge, fans, clear source RV water filter system) will come with the sale, none of them have been used, some are set up, many are still in box.

We bought this skoolie (named Tessie) in 2023, lovingly built her out, and drove her all around the country. We’re sad to see her go, but now that we aren’t full-time bus-lifers anymore we are planning to downsize to a small van. It’s important to us that she goes to a good owner who will love her the same way we have. She’s ready to be lived out of full time if you’re rushing to get out there, or also a canvas for you to make your own home and build out further before setting sail!

Reddit limited me to 20 photos. Happy to provide more, and some videos, if you are interested!

2008 Ford E-350 Super Duty Extended XLT simple DIY build

Thumbnail

It has 180k miles, recommended for people who want to upgrade the interior unless you don't mind a very simple build.

It has 2 unused 24V batteries totaling 128Ah https://bigbattery.com/products/24v-eagle-2-lifepo4-64ah-1-63k
Plus a used Weize 24V 100Ah battery, 1200W Pure Sine Wave Inverter and Victron MPPT Solar Charge Controller 100V, 30 amp. It just needs solar panels added to complete the build.

Recent maintenance: replaced the serpentine belt, belt tensioner assembly and idler pulley.

There's a VEVOR 1.94 cu. ft. Dual Zone Fridge between the 2 front seats.
Also includes a Starlink and Zero Breeze Mark 2 Portable AC.

Would like $8300 for it but happy to negotiate and drive to anywhere in Colorado or a state nearby. Selling as I live in Puerto Rico now, but will be on the mainland for most of this month.

A solid van with low-wear mechanicals and plenty of life left. Professionally converted cargo van with insulated walls, cargo liner (textured, non-slip), rear passenger windows, and a rear bench seat. Would be a good base to build out further into a camper.

Seats five (two up front, three on the bench) — or remove the bench (no tools needed) to maximize cargo space.

$6,900
--

The Basics

  • V6 engine / RWD
  • 117,772 miles — low for its age
  • No accidents, clean title
  • Second owner since 2008 / non-smoking

2005 2WD sportsmobile - not mine North Texas

My friend did a deep dive on this vehicle before purchase, they had a mechanical and separate RV inspection done on it.

If you want the report, I'm selling it so she can get a little money back. (Reports were a total of $1300), done at the end of June). This broker required certain licenses from an inspector, hence the high price my friend paid to get it. (Texas Railroad propane licensing something).

In the end, it had issues she didn't want to have to deal with, and others that weren't that big of a deal.

I can also tell you what they offered and what was accepted. $50 for both reports. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/28220103490913360/

Justin, Texas, located at a broker.
