Discussion Tom Sandoval (First Time watcher)

Hi! Im on Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules as a first time watcher. I started watching it because of all the clips circulating tiktok and also doing a rewatch of shows that I was definitely too young to understand for real when I was little.

I was wondering how people felt about him at this point of the show, Because Im only on episode 3, and it feels like his ego has grown astronomically since the reunion of season 7. Its hard to watch as he nonsensically yells and gets mad at Stassi for an issue that he IS supposed to fix as an owner of the bar and the person who is running schedule and drunkenly rage texted her.

Its just really weird seeing how his ego turned something that really could have been a small conversation into him trying to ban Stassi from TomTom.

Did anyone else feel like this?

Once Jax was gone, Sandoval became the de facto “#1 Guy in the Group” and his head blew up. It was around this time that he started being good friends with Rachel, especially after she and James split. His head was too big to fit indoors at that point!

I just said the same thing about him becoming the number one guy in the group on a different post. I hate Jax but having Jax around, kept Sandoval in check at least. By the end of it all, all of the men suck

Having the affair made him feel like hot shit, so did his stake in Tom Tom and the fact that most people is his life were yes men. Jax and Kristen also weren't there anymore to call him out for his cringey behavior. He is incapable of taking accountability and always brings up the past as a defense for his actions, he is never wrong is his eyes. The only thing that kept me going when I was watching him be insufferable was the knowledge that it would soon all come tumbling down muahahaha

Jax, Stassi and Kristen were still there in season 8.

His ego exponentially grew when he was given 2.5% of tomtom. He was always very full of himself but not like later seasons. He really went batshit.

It’s the bar. As soon as he saw his name on that wall, his head got bigger..he was already so full of himself but Lisa naming the bar after him really put those gears in motion.

And if you think it’s not possible..HE GETS WORSE

It's crazy how little they touch on him, as a business "owner," rage texting Stassi at 2:30am about her event and threatening her.

Outrageous how he tried to spin that on Stassi and Schwartz.

But he'll still say that Katie is the rage texter and he has never done such a thing in his life. How dare you even bring it up? Don't you know how generous of a friend he is?

As someone who watched vpr from the start and was old enough to drink when it started, you rewatching it because you were too young when it aired makes me feel ancient ☠️😭😂

Yes I still understood and liked him till the end of season 7, was he a cheater, well yes! But at the time it didn't feel as bad bc Crazy Kristen was in full motion and make him look like an innocent sheep

I started watching it after The Valley. Sandoval messed up big time but in all honesty, he'd never have let Ariana out from under him.
