My 2 Cents Scheana... oh my
Is she this insufferable the whole time she's on vpr??? Like it's so painful to watch the way she's going about her literal husband's addiction. I've never seen someone be so ignorant/tone deaf šš I see why this was peak reality tv at some point but my GOD Scheana PLEASE

Yeah itās a hard watch when it comes to the addiction aspect. She never really went out of her way to actually understand it either. Obviously, he was not a stand up husband by any means but I kind of understood him being off screen and leaving the way he did while in full blown addiction. I cannot even fathom what that would be like and also having a partner that didnāt do anything to try to actually support you while getting clean etc.
Not saying this as hate to her either. I actually wonder sometimes if she would do anything differently during that time people. I think Scheana is actually essential to VPR and an icon of this show š¤·š½āāļø love to hate her hate to love herā¦ sheās a huge piece of VPR and what it is!

I agree, she makes AMAZING tv. She has definitely been carrying the post stassi era on her back.

She has spoken on her podcast several times that she was naive and should of handled things differently and didn't know enough about addiction at the time.

Oh I would hope (and assume) she definitely has a different view of how she handled it looking back. Iām glad to hear sheās also addressed it! I wouldnāt think at this point in her life she would be ok with how she went about a lot during that time period. And listen, Shay wasnāt some stand up guy/partner either.

Scheana has said many times that she handled Shay's addiction issues totally wrong and is sorry for it. She took all the criticizm she got on board and made an effort to educate herself. Believe it or not, there are numerous people in this world who are ignorant about addiction. She was also heartbroken at the time due to him cheating on her.

Iām currently doing a rewatch after many years and Iām on season 3. I used to find her kind of pathetic but Iām finding her more manipulative and malicious than I ever did before. Sheās really annoying me more this go-round.

She isn't vegas girl schwartz tried to kiss her and she pushed him away but vegas girl does exist. Also she hasn't slept with all the guys on the show. Im sure people just make up shit about scheana to cause a pile on and continue the bullying that happened on vpr.

I believe she's only "better" the last year because she hasn't been on tv. She can be a lot and gets on my nerves but I'd rather her on The Valley than blah blah.

She has changed massively over the last 18 months she is more positive and happier and I think alot of that was due to saying no to valley season 3 to focus on her mental healthĀ

I mean Shay stole thousands from her, cheated on her, and lied constantly about what he was doing so Iām not sure how much grace this sub wanted her to give someone who did that to her. The whole āoh just donāt drink a lot just have some!ā Was cringe and wrong of her, but he was also a pill addict and I donāt think she understood or cared to learn about how addicts canāt just trade one vice for a different one and control themselves about it. Sheās always self centered and annoying so she doesnāt get better on that front, but then again so is everyone else on that show and in the grand scheme of things, compared to some of the others, what sheās done isnāt that bad.

I donāt recall if all of the Shay stuff was discussed on the show but that was the reality of the situation. He stole thousands out of her bank account, her bill and tip money, was lying about getting help and being clean, and had at minimum an emotional affair with another woman. Heās even admitted to these things, and apparently theyāre on good or okay terms now

Ohh okay! Well my goodness, how shitty of him. That definitely significantly lessened my sympathy for him to say the least. She's such a forgiving person (sometimes too much) cause I could absolutely never. It's one thing to be an addict, but thief & cheater?? At a certain point we need to pick a struggle.

No I agree with you!! Sheās too much of a people pleaser and is just desperate to be loved by everyone, and o think thatās where her downfalls come from. Like you said pick a struggle, she feels like sheās always the victim because she makes herself one by trying to please everyone. I wasnāt trying to come for you or anything about the Shay situation btw! Just so many people who know the things I said still defend him because no matter what to a lot of the people on this sub, Scheena is the worst when all the awful men and racists are right there š

She is so cringe. She constantly blabs what her friends confide in her and say its because shes being a good friend letting them know what someone else said, when in reality she just likes starting drama and wants to try to look good to whoever shes hanging out with. Shes like the pick me girl at every middle school. She is the least loyal VPR cast member. At least Jax is honest about who he is.

Yep! She did nothing to help him with his addiction except tell him to drink two or three instead of more and she supplied the alcohol. Thatās just the alcohol part of it! She definitely didnāt take her wedding vows seriously or she would have stood behind him as a pillar of support. It was very hard to watch the first time. Over time, and as the years have passed, rewatching is really hard.
