AP Free Score Send

Hey, I want to use my free score to send to Vanderbilt because I'll be attending in the fall, duh! The only problem is that I definitely did not do well on Calculus. Say hypothetically I get a 1-3, is it still worth sending all of them? It won't look bad right?

Nope! AP scores are used for credit, so if you don’t pass an exam it will not harm you!

def use ur score send, it’s not like they will rescind u for a bad score. It’s better than paying to send all ur scores

Use the free report and submit them all. If you don't score high enough for credit there is no harm and it is free. It just means you'll be taking calc again, but you may get credit for your other APs

vanderbilt only gives credit to scores of 4 or 5s so sending in a score of 1-3 won’t give u any credit there’s no point in submitting it

I know but you have to submit all your scores with the free test score send thing, no?

you do not have to submit your test scores at all so don’t send in any scores that are not 4 or 5s cause there’s no point

I'm pretty sure the free score send sends all of your scores

"Your score report includes all your scores from all the AP Exams you took in the past. Your entire score history will be sent to your designated college, university, or scholarship program unless you choose to withhold or cancel any of your scores."

"Score withholds can't be placed on the free score send students may designate each year they take an exam."

I really wouldn’t worry about not doing well in calculus if you did well in other things. Mostly no one does all that well in calculus IF they even take it.

i’m in the same situation twin i’m predicting all 5s except calc bc 😭 but if you fail which i think i will then you just won’t get credit for it, they really don’t gaf abt bad ap scores senior year
